യുവജന രാഷ്ട്രീയം • പൊതുപ്രവർത്തനം • പ്രഭാഷണം • ജീവകാരുണ്യംആശിക് ചെലവൂർ കേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി-യുവജന രാഷ്ട്രീയ രംഗത്തും രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസംഗ വേദികളിലും ശ്രദ്ധേയ സാന്നിധ്യമാണ്. മൂന്ന് പതിറ്റാണ്ടിലേറെയായി രാഷ്ട്രീയ, സാമൂഹിക, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ, ജീവകാരുണ്യ മേഖലകളിൽ സജീവമായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം, പ്രവർത്തന മികവും നേതൃപാടവവും കൊണ്ടാണ് ശ്രദ്ധേയനായത്.രാഷ്ട്രീയ യാത്രMuslim Students Federation (MSF) വഴിയാണ് ആശിക് ചെലവൂർ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവന്നത്. 1996ൽ ശാഖാ സെക്രട്ടറിയായാണ് രാഷ്ട്രീയ യാത്രയുടെ തുടക്കം. 2000-ൽ കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി എംഎസ്എഫ് ഭാരവാഹിയതോടെ പൊതുപ്രവർത്തന രംഗത്ത് സജീവമായി.Farook College-ിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് രണ്ട് തവണ കോളേജ് യൂണിയൻ ഭാരവാഹിയായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഫൈൻ ആർട്സ് സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് ബിസോൺ, ഇന്റർസോൺ കലോത്സവങ്ങളിൽ ഫാറൂഖ് കോളേജ് ജേതാക്കളാകുന്നതിൽ നിർണായക പങ്കുവഹിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന്:MSF കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡന്റ് (2007-2008) MSF കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി  (2002-2003, 2003,-2004)MSF കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലാ ട്രഷറർ (2005-2006)MSF സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി (2008-2012)University of Calicut സെനറ്റ് മെമ്പർ (2007)Youth League കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി മേഖല പ്രസിഡന്റ് (2011-2012)യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് സംസ്ഥാ പ്രവർത്തക സമിതി അംഗം (2012–2016)കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി, നോർത്ത് യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് സെക്രട്ടറി, പ്രസിഡന്റ്, ജില്ലാ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം  (2012–2016)യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി (2016–2021)യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് ദേശീയ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം (2022 മുതൽ)യൂത്ത് ലീഗ് ദേശീയ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് (2024 മുതൽ)സമര നായകൻ • സംഘാടക ശക്തിസയ്യിദ് മുനവ്വറലി ശിഹാബ് തങ്ങൾ നയിച്ച കാസർകോട് മുതൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം വരെ 600 കിലോമീറ്റർ നീണ്ട യുവജന യാത്രയുടെ കോർഡിനേറ്ററായിരുന്നു ആശിക് ചെലവൂർ. വിദ്യാർത്ഥി അവകാശ സമരങ്ങൾ, യുവജന പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങൾ, ജനകീയ വിഷയങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിൽ ശക്തമായ സാന്നിധ്യമാ.ജീവകാരുണ്യ പ്രവർത്തനംകഴിഞ്ഞ 14 വർഷമായി ശിഹാബ് തങ്ങൾ സ്പർശം എജുക്കേഷനൽ ആന്റ് ചാരിറ്റബിൾ സെന്റർ-ന്റെ ചെയർമാനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.സംഘടനയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ:പാവപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക് ഭക്ഷണ വിതരണംസൗജന്യ മരുന്ന് വിതരണംഭവന നിർമാണ സഹായംവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പുകൾചികിത്സാ സഹായങ്ങൾഎന്നിവ നടപ്പിലാക്കി വരുന്നു. കൂടാതെ യൂത്ത് മുന്നേറ്റം ചാരിറ്റി കൂട്ടായ്മ ചെയർമാനായും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. സമൂഹ വിവാഹങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ വലിയ ജനശ്രദ്ധ നേടി.വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തെ ഇടപെടൽChelavoor Government LP School PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ് (തുടർച്ചയായി 3 വർഷം)JDT Islam School മുൻ PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ്Ilahiya Public School നിലവിലെ PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ്ജനകീയ ഇടപെടലുകളും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പുരോഗതിക്കായുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മികച്ച PTA പ്രസിഡന്റ് എന്ന നിലയിൽ ജനകീയ അംഗീകാരം നേടാൻ സഹായിച്ചുരാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രഭാഷകൻ • ട്രെയിനർ • സാംസ്കാരിക സാന്നിധ്യംOommen Chandy ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ നേതാക്കളുടെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചാരണ വേദികളിൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രഭാഷകനായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.എഴുത്തുകാരൻ, ഗായകൻ എന്നീ നിലകളിലും ആശിക് തന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.കൂടാതെ കോഴിക്കോട് കേന്ദ്രമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന Center for Advanced Communication സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന “Communication Master Pathway” പദ്ധതിയുടെ മാസ്റ്റർ ട്രെയിനറുമാണ്.  Ashique Chelavoor is the National Vice President of the Muslim Youth League (MYL) and a former State Secretary of MYL Kerala, as well as former Secretary of the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) Kerala State.
