Engineer P. Mammed Koya is a distinguished civil engineer and Chief Consultant at Builtechgroups Engineers, Planners & Valuers, Kozhikode, with decades of experience in engineering consultancy, planning, and valuation. Known for his technical expertise and practical approach, he has contributed to numerous projects while also holding key leadership roles in professional and social organizations. Currently, he serves as the State General Secretary of the Muslim Service Society (MSS), Kerala, playing an active role in community development and organizational leadership. Beyond his professional career, he is a committed social activist and has served in several prominent positions, including State President of LENSFED, Vice President of the Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Former President of Calicut South Rotary, and President of CIESCO. He is also the Chairman of CIESCO Yatheem Care and ITI, actively supporting educational and welfare initiatives. Engineer Mammed Koya is an accomplished author and public communicator, having written two Malayalam travelogues—Usbekisthanile Munthiri Vallikal and Hajj Yathra: Ormakal, Anubhavangal—along with numerous socio-cultural articles. Through his YouTube channel “Engineer Talks,” where he has published over 150 videos, he shares insights on civil engineering and social issues. Having traveled to more than 30 countries and across India, he brings a broad global perspective to his work and continues to inspire through his professional and social contributions.
