The story began in 1959, when Sadanandan Ezhunnam Mannil founded Anand Watch Company. Shammik E. is the Proprietor of New Anand Watch Co. and represents the second generation of the family business founded by his father, Sadanandan Ezhunnam Mannil. Associated with the establishment for nearly 35 years, including around 30 years in a key operational role, he has gained extensive experience in customer relations, watch sales, repair and service, product selection, technical support and day-to-day operations. His long-standing involvement has helped carry New Anand Watch Co. from its traditional beginnings into its present-day identity while continuing the family's enduring association with the watch trade.
The business began as Anand Watch Company in 1959, founded by Sadanandan Ezhunnam Mannil. In 2026, the establishment moved to a nearby building and adopted its present name, New Anand Watch Co. Today, founder Sadanandan Ezhunnam Mannil’s son, Shammik E., serves as the Proprietor of New Anand Watch Co.
