Published two books in Malayalam on Theyyam, a ritual art form of North Kerala- 1. "Theyyam- Prakriti- Sthreetvam" (About the influence of ecology and eco-feminism in Theyyam cult), 2. "Kolathiriyum Theyyangalum" (About the Kolathiri dynasty and their patronage to Theyyam worship). One of the co-authors of an anthology of cultural study papers published by Mathrubhumi Books in 2011 [Malabar- Paithrikavum Pratapavum]. One of the co-authors of an anthology of Folklore studies published by Prajna Pravah Pratishtan, New Delhi [Lok, Beyond Folk- Ed. J. Nandakumar]. Regularly writing essays and research papers on Folk and Classical Art forms in reputed journals. More than thirty monographs published in various journals. Presented papers in the national level seminars. State Vice President, Thapasya Kala Sahitya Vedi (Kerala Unit of Sanskar Bharati). State co-ordinator of Folk Arts Genre of Sanskar Bharati. Advisory Panel Member of Central Board of Film Certification. Former State Executive Committee Member of Kerala Union of Working Journalists. Chief Reporter at Janmabhumi Daily.
